You do not need to be a medical provider to refer someone for hospice care. Anyone who is caring for a loved one or patient who is in the advanced stages of illness may benefit from hospice care and your request services for care.

To request services, please contact Compass Regional Hospice at 443-262-4100. Our staff will work with the patient’s physician to ensure a quick and effective admission. In most cases, Compass Regional Hospice is able to begin hospice services within 24 hours of the request.

Please note: Requests are typically processed during normal business hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After normal business hours, and on weekends and holidays, the main CRH telephone number is answered by a service who, at the request of a patient or family member, will contact the nurse case manager on-call.
